After decommissioning for supply, pharmacies generally have up to 10 days to undo it if the pack is not actually given to the patient (country rules may vary).
A duplicate serial or unknown pack status requires investigation. Do not dispense until resolved per local SOP.
Certain product/batch/pack states (e.g., Withdrawn, Recalled, Expired) are irreversible and make packs non‑dispensable.
Verify before dispensing, keep scanner time accurate, and reconcile any scan issues immediately.
